RuvaAfricWear has been honored to participate in the first black fashion accelerator program presented by Afropunk and Shopify. For six months, along with eight other astonishing black fashion designers, we received business council, mentorship, and resources to help our brand grow and sustain within the ever changing, competitive Fashion industry.
On Wednesday, July 13th, we displayed our new collection at the Black Fashion Exhibit Fashion Show located at the Shopify store in SoHo, New York. The fashion show was an incredible way to close out the accelerator program. We are extremely grateful for all of the coverage the show received in the press.
